Overview
The Director of Demand Generation will own the strategy, execution, and performance of Storable’s demand engine for the self-storage vertical. This role is responsible for driving qualified pipelines, improving funnel performance, and accelerating revenue growth across Storable’s Storage platform.
This leader will operate at both a strategic and operational level by developing scalable demand generation programs while aligning closely with Sales, Product Marketing, and Revenue Operations to ensure marketing efforts translate directly into revenue impact.
The Director will bring a strong growth mindset, deep experience building modern B2B SaaS demand engines, and a forward-looking perspective on the role of AI and data-driven marketing in accelerating customer acquisition and lifecycle engagement. This role will report to GM, Storage and serve as the primary owner of demand generation strategy for Storable’s self-storage solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Demand Generation Strategy & Market Leadership
• Own the strategy and performance of Storable’s demand generation engine for the self-storage vertical, driving qualified pipeline and revenue growth
• Build targeted demand generation programs tailored to the self-storage operator ecosystem, including independent operators, regional groups, and multi-location businesses
• Strengthen Storable’s brand presence and market leadership through integrated campaigns and industry engagement
• Maintain a deep understanding of the self-storage landscape, including customer pain points, competitor activity, and emerging market trends
Campaign Execution & Lifecycle Marketing
• Develop and execute multi-channel marketing programs across paid media, SEO, lifecycle marketing, digital campaigns, events, and partnerships
• Develop lifecycle marketing strategies that support new customer acquisition, product adoption, and cross-sell opportunities across Storable’s platform
Funnel Performance, Analytics & AI Innovation
• Improve funnel performance through continuous optimization of website conversion, landing pages, and digital buyer journeys
• Leverage marketing analytics and reporting to evaluate campaign performance, improve marketing ROI, and guide strategic decision making
• Identify opportunities to apply AI-powered marketing tools and predictive insights to improve campaign targeting, personalization, and demand capture
Cross-Functional GTM Alignment
• Partner closely with Sales leadership and Revenue Operations to align marketing initiatives with pipeline targets, sales priorities, and go-to-market strategy
• Partner with the Product organization to align product roadmaps with market-facing messaging, translating technical milestones into compelling demand generation narratives
Team Leadership & Industry Presence
• Lead and develop a high-performing demand generation team while fostering a culture of experimentation, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Own Storable’s strategic presence at trade shows and industry events, driving brand visibility, lead capture, and meaningful engagement with key operators and industry influencers
Required Competencies
• 8+ years of B2B marketing experience with a strong focus on demand generation, growth marketing, or pipeline development
• Proven success driving measurable pipeline growth in SaaS, enterprise technology, or subscription-based businesses
• Experience owning marketing-sourced or marketing-influenced pipeline targets and aligning marketing programs with revenue outcomes
• Strong expertise in digital demand generation including paid media, SEO, lifecycle marketing, email marketing, and events
• Experience implementing AI-powered marketing tools for campaign optimization, personalization, or predictive marketing analytics
• Experience partnering closely with Sales and Revenue Operations to optimize funnel performance and pipeline creation
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate marketing data into actionable insights and strategic decisions
• Experience bridging the gap between product development and market-facing demand programs to ensure roadmap features translate into customer value.
• Experience managing and developing high-performing marketing teams
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
Preferred Competencies
• Experience marketing to SMB or mid-market operators within vertical SaaS industries
• Familiarity with the self-storage, property technology, or operational SaaS sectors
• Experience building lifecycle marketing or account-based marketing programs in a growth-stage SaaS company
