About this role

Job Description Summary:

The Director, Data Product Owner   – ISSCOM & Crosswalk   will lead the strategy, delivery, and lifecycle management of two critical enterprise data products:   ISSCOM , the global master and reference data system of record, and   Crosswalk , a strategic data mapping capability enabling alignment between internal and external data standards.  

This role is accountable for maximizing product value by driving roadmap prioritization, ensuring operational excellence, and enabling scalable data interoperability across   enterprise   processes   and external data ecosystems. The Director will act as   the   bridge between business stakeholders, data governance teams, and technology partners to ensure that master data assets are reliable, standardized, and analytically consumable at enterprise scale.  

Key Responsibilities  

Data Product Ownership & Strategy  

• Define and own the product vision, roadmap, and success metrics for ISSCOM and Crosswalk in alignment with enterprise data strategy.  

• Prioritize enhancements based on business value, regulatory requirements, and operational impact.  

• Drive product lifecycle management, including backlog grooming, release planning, and feature adoption.  

Master Data Governance & Quality  

• Ensure ISSCOM   remains   the authoritative source for global master and reference data through strong   partnership with global data   governance   domain leads and relevant systems controls .  

• Establish and enforce data quality standards, stewardship processes, and audit mechanisms.  

• Partner with domain leaders ( Customer, Supply Chain, Finance, etc. ) to align data definitions and business rules.  

Crosswalk Capability Leadership  

• Lead the evolution of Crosswalk as a critical integration layer for harmonizing internal and external data standards.  

• Drive expansion beyond   initial   enterprise use cases to support local Operating Unit (OU) usage   the increase   the overall value of the capability   and ROI of the related technology and resource investments  

• Enable consistent mapping of key entities (e.g., brands, products, customers) across third-party data providers.  

• Partner with analytics teams to support unified reporting and   insights   leveraging   cross-referenced datasets.  

Operational Excellence & Support Oversight  

• Oversee technical support processes, including ticket triage,   resolution   SLAs, and root cause analysis.  

• Ensure   timely   resolution of production issues while driving continuous improvement in system reliability.  

• Monitor product performance, usage, and   adoption   metrics.  

Integration & Ecosystem Management  

• Track and manage upstream and downstream system integrations   impacting   ISSCOM and Crosswalk.  

• Partner with data engineering teams   and other relevant product/platform owners   to ensure seamless data flows   across the enterprise .  

• Identify   and mitigate risks related to dependencies, data latency, and schema changes.  

Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership  

• Serve as the primary point of contact for executive stakeholders and business partners.  

• Translate complex data concepts into clear business value propositions.  

• Lead cross-functional collaboration across technology, data governance, analytics, and external partners.  

People & Program Leadership  

• Provide leadership to product analysts, data stewards, and supporting resources.  

• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.  

• Drive adoption of Agile and product-centric ways of working.  

Education Requirements  

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems , Computer Science, Data Management, Business, or related field   required  

• Master’s degree (MBA, MS in Data/Analytics, or equivalent) preferred  

Related Work Experience  

• 10+ years of experience in data management, data governance, or data product management  

• 5+ years leading enterprise-scale data products or MDM platforms  

• Experience with global master data environments and data standardization across multiple domains  

• Proven   track record   managing cross-functional initiatives with business and technical stakeholders  

• Experience in consumer goods, beverage, or highly matrixed global organizations preferred

Annual Incentive Reference Value Percentage: 30 Annual Incentive reference value is a market-based competitive value for your role. It falls in the middle of the range for your role, indicating performance at target.
