This dynamic group designs best-in-class buying programs that drive recurring revenue growth and streamline customer experiences. As a critical force behind Cisco's growth strategy, this team is responsible for defining program requirements, driving offer development, and ensuring scalability across Cisco's global ecosystem. Working in a fast-paced, agile environment, the team collaborates with a diverse network of partners — including Business Entity leaders, corporate offer teams, product managers, sales teams, partners, and customers. At the heart of this team's mission is a commitment to innovation, simplicity, and operational excellence. We shape buying programs that reflect Cisco's highest standards. Joining this team means becoming part of a global effort to redefine how Cisco creates and delivers unparalleled value across all routes to market.   We are seeking a strategic, results-oriented Director to join our Strategy and Design team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle management of our buying programs, focusing on market adoption, strategic scaling, and the systematic retirement of legacy offerings. You will act as the bridge between program design and market execution, ensuring that our commercial models are compelling to our customers and partners while remaining operationally balanced at scale within our fast-paced, AI-operated organization.

Your Impact • Value Story Development:  Define and articulate clear, persuasive value propositions for various internal and external personas. You will translate complex program terms into compelling narratives that drive understanding and enthusiasm across the ecosystem. • Market Adoption Strategy:  Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies to accelerate the adoption of new buying programs. You will ensure that program terms are clearly communicated, understood, and effectively utilized by sales teams and partners. • Legacy Program Lifecycle Management:  Lead the strategic retirement and end-of-sale process for legacy programs. You will manage the transition roadmap, ensuring minimal disruption to the business while effectively migrating customers to modern, preferred buying models. • Scaling and Enablement:  Deliver the necessary capabilities, tools, and frameworks required to facilitate the successful retirement of legacy systems. You will design processes that allow the organization to scale new programs efficiently while sunsetting outdated ones. • Stakeholder Engagement and Feedback Loops:  Establish and maintain robust feedback loops with global sales teams, channel partners, and customers. Use these insights to refine program design, address friction points, and inform future strategy. • Cross-Functional Leadership:  Partner closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Product teams to ensure alignment on program terms, compliance, and strategic goals.

• Drive business model innovation  — partner with multi-functional teams to enable new and emerging business models. Enable scalable buying program business capabilities for customers to purchase Cisco's AI solutions through Enterprise Agreements (EAs) • Govern strategic roadmap and investment priorities  — lead value-based prioritization of the roadmap and backlog, ensuring alignment with long-term vision and corporate strategy; advise executive sponsors on strategic and operational opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred). • 10+ years of experience in commercial strategy and design for AI, Saas, Enterprise License business models, program management, or sales operations within a technology or B2B environment. • Demonstrated expertise in designing commercial business models, including Enterprise agreements, whole portfolio agreements, SaaS, and AI product monetization. • Proven ability to thrive and deliver results within a fast-paced, AI-operated organizational environment. • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear, actionable value stories.
