We are at the forefront of building a more connected, personalized, and seamless patient experience, which will be critical to helping patients to benefit from our upcoming launch products. Working cross-functionally, we are inventing new ways of leveraging digital, data, and analytics to improve health outcomes and deliver on our "patient-first" mission. Reporting to the Executive Director, Digital Patient Experience, the Director, Patient Intelligence Lead is a pivotal new role dedicated to building our predictive patient analytics capabilities. • Cross-Functional Data Leadership: Partner closely with our Commercial Technology & Solutions, Market Engagement, Commercial AI Capabilities, Patient CoE, and Brand teams to ensure the right data infrastructure, governance, and quality are in place to support advanced analytics.
• Team & Capability Development: Cultivate a high-performing analytics function within the DHH Patient Capabilities team, mentoring data professionals and establishing best practices for patient analytics.
Required Experience and Skills: • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics).
• 10+ years of relevant experience in advanced analytics, data science, or predictive modeling within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or related industries.
• Extensive hands-on experience working with patient-level healthcare data sets (e.g., claims data, EHR/EMR, specialty pharmacy data, Rx/fulfillment data).
• Proven ability to productize analytics—translating ad-hoc models into scalable, repeatable data products or modular capabilities.
• Strong proficiency in data visualization tools and translating complex data into strategic business recommendations for non-technical leadership.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to manage technical resources and drive cross-functional alignment.
Preferred Experience and Skills: • Advanced degree (e.g., MS or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, or related quantitative field).
• Deep expertise in machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) applications specific to patient behavior and commercial healthcare analytics.
• Prior experience working in agile product teams, collaborating closely with product managers and engineers.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data environments and modern data architecture (e.g., AWS, GCP).
