Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Program Manager (Level K) to join the Saudi Airborne Warning & Control Systems (AWACS) team in Oklahoma City, OK !
Strong communication and organizational skills are critical to success in this position, along with the ability to build strong relationships, collaborate in a cross-functional environment, and utilize problem-solving skills to proactively identify and manage risks and opportunities.
Position Responsibilities: • Manages employees that develop projects and program plans at all levels across functional areas and executes all project phases to achieve objectives within scope, time, quality, and constraints from initiation to post completion. • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals. • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. • Manages, develops and motivates employees.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
Boeing First-Line Leader Assessment: To be considered for this position you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process. Failure to complete the assessment will remove you from consideration.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): • 5+ years of experience working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives. • Experience leading projects or programs utilizing Earned Value management and RIO management to drive program performance • 3+ years of leadership experience in Program Management on a large program effort • Candidates must have a minimum of one year of leadership experience (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): • Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM) • Experience executing FMS contracts or international contracts • Experience with product support or ground and training systems
This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for $126,650 - $171,350
