If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.

ABOUT THIS ROLE:

As a Data Center Operations Project Manager on Crusoe’s Cloud Deployment Operations team, you will drive the physical expansion and operational readiness of our sustainable data center infrastructure. In this full-time role, you will lead complex, high-impact infrastructure deployment projects across our data center environments. You will be the orchestrator ensuring sites are ready, structured cabling and physical layer infrastructure are installed to exact specifications, and our cutting-edge cloud infrastructure is brought online efficiently and reliably to power the future of compute.

The ideal candidate is a self-directed, highly organized technical project manager who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments. You bring a deep understanding of physical infrastructure deployments, data center operations, and cloud readiness, paired with the exceptional collaboration skills required to align cross-functional engineering teams and external vendors. By bridging the gap between physical deployment and operational reality, you will directly accelerate Crusoe's mission to build the most climate-aligned digital infrastructure on earth.

WHAT YOU’LL BE WORKING ON:

- Ensure Site Readiness: Oversee all aspects of site readiness, proactively coordinating with diverse stakeholders to guarantee facilities are fully prepared for seamless equipment installation and operational deployment.

- Own Deployment Execution: Lead end-to-end project management for physical layer and cable infrastructure rollouts, driving vendor execution from initial planning phases through final testing and handoff.

- Manage Physical Infrastructure: Partner closely with internal deployment engineers to oversee the installation of structured cabling (backbone fiber, copper, pathways, and containment), ensuring third-party vendors execute strictly according to engineering designs and timelines.

- Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align project goals, key dependencies, and deliverables by working hand-in-hand with our Digital Infrastructure Group (DIG), Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and external partners.

- Build Project Plans & Schedules: Develop, maintain, and manage highly detailed project plans—utilizing Gantt charts and tracking tools—to map critical milestones, track dependencies, and ensure on-time project delivery.

- Mitigate Risks: Proactively identify project risks, physical constraints, and resource blockers, establishing robust mitigation strategies to maintain continuous project momentum.

- Engage Stakeholders: Deliver clear, concise, and proactive updates regarding project progress, risks, and milestones to engineering, operations, and leadership teams to ensure total organizational alignment.

- Continuous Process Improvement: Standardize and optimize deployment methodologies, contributing new processes and documentation to elevate the efficiency of the Cloud Deployment Operations team.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TEAM:

- Proven Technical PM Experience: 7+ years of experience in technical project or program management, with a dedicated focus on infrastructure deployments, data center operations, hardware rollouts, or large-scale technical infrastructure projects.

- Technical Infrastructure Acumen: A solid, foundational understanding of data center site readiness, networking, server deployments, and cloud readiness concepts.

- Data Center Execution Knowledge: Demonstrated experience supporting hardware deployments, rack and stack operations, or physical layer infrastructure rollouts within complex data center environments.

- Project Management Expertise: A proven track record of successfully managing complex technical projects from initial inception to completion, demonstrating meticulous organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Mastery of PM Tools: Exceptional proficiency in using advanced project management tools, including Gantt charts, for planning, scheduling, and tracking project progress.

- Stellar Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a natural tendency to anticipate stakeholder information needs and keep cross-functional leadership and engineering teams aligned.

- Adaptable Problem-Solving: Strong analytical abilities and a resilient mindset, capable of navigating unforeseen physical constraints, resolving conflict, and adapting to changing priorities.

- Travel Flexibility: Ability and willingness to travel to physical data center sites as needed to provide hands-on project oversight and support deployment activities.

BONUS POINTS:

- Advanced Degrees: A preferred degree or field of study in Engineering, Computer Science, Construction Management, or a related technical field.

- Industry Certifications: Active Proje
