About this role

This is a fully remote opportunity for candidates based in Latin America.

Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM Pacific Time

Glacier is a Series A startup based in San Francisco that builds in-house computer vision models to power two core products:

- a robot that identifies and sorts materials inside recycling facilities

- an analytics system that tracks recyclables and reports metrics to key stakeholders in the industry.

These technologies are already helping to divert tons of recyclables (literally!) from landfills every day.

From major CPG companies like Colgate and Amazon https://www.packworld.com/sustainable-packaging/recycling/article/22953724/colgatepalmolive-amazon-glacier to municipal recycling facilities, our clients trust us to turn recycling data into actionable insights. Our technology has been recognized as one of TIME's Best Inventions https://time.com/collections/best-inventions-2025/7318523/glacier-recycling-robots/ and featured in a TIME documentary https://www.pmi.org/project-management-for-impact/sustainability-ai, TechCrunch https://techcrunch.com/podcast/glacier-is-training-ai-powered-recycling-robots/, Fortune https://fortune.com/2024/06/12/these-ai-enabled-recycling-robots-are-helping-businesses-be-more-sustainable/, and CBS https://www.cbsnews.com/sanfrancisco/news/glacier-recycling-robotics-ai-artificlal-intelligence-trash-waste/.
