About this role
C.H. Robinson is looking for a Credit Supervisor . In this role you will be focused on supporting and guiding credit operations while fostering a culture of collaboration and development. You will be responsible for leading a team of credit professionals, ensuring effective credit evaluations, and balancing risk management with business growth objectives. The Supervisor will assist in implementing credit policies, monitoring portfolio performance, and supporting cross-functional initiatives to achieve financial and operational goals. This role is ideal for someone with foundational credit and leadership experience who is eager to grow into a senior leadership position.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following: • Assist in evaluating creditworthiness and establishing credit limits to minimize financial risk while supporting business objectives
• Manages daily operations by assigning tasks, monitoring progress, maintaining schedules, and providing clear, day-to-day direction to ensure team priorities and objectives are met
• Partner with sales, finance, and operations teams to address credit challenges and support customer relationships
• Support the implementation of efficient credit processes, leveraging tools and methodologies to drive continuous improvement
• Act as an escalation point for operational challenges and policy exceptions, providing thoughtful resolutions
• Contribute to preparing credit performance reports and sharing insights with leadership to support decision-making
• Assist in the application and refinement of credit policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance
Leadership • Supervise, mentor, and support credit team members to foster professional growth, ensure high performance and encourage team development by fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning
• Supports the annual merit and equity programs for assigned team to align compensation with performance results
• Outlines employee role accountabilities and expectations; manages performance to drive the right behaviors and improve results and provides useful real-time coaching, development activities and stretch assignments; supports employees with problem resolution
• Participates in the recruitment, selection, promotion, and alignment of qualified and diverse talent
• Encourages employee feedback through formal and informal channels. Work with next level manager to acknowledge and take action on feedback to drive a trusting culture of open two-way communication, inclusivity, collaboration and continuous improvement
• Gathers data and provides input to support the creation of financial performance goals, including a revenue and expense budget, for the supervised team
QUALIFICATIONS Required: • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years of financial reporting, operations, finance, and/or credit experience
• Ability to travel up to 5% (domestically and internationally)
Preferred: • Previous supervisory experience
• Exposure to process improvement methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma
• Experience using financial software, ERP systems, or credit rating tools
• Ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skill
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders and resolve conflicts
• Ability to motivate and encourage change, able to get positive results in a very large, dispersed organization

Compensation Range $73,600.00 - $116,400.00 The base pay range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for this specific location. Your individual base pay within this range is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base pay only and do not include additional variable compensation.
