• Listens to and records proceedings, dialogue, or dictation of reports, correspondence, and other matters. • Transcribes recorded material into readable format. • Responsible for reading portions of transcript aloud when requested. • Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• High School/GED; Must be certified by the State of Texas as a Court Reporter. • 5 years experience as a freelance or court reporter. • Must have knowledge and familiarity with Computer Aided Transcription (CAT). • Must provide equipment necessary to provide “real time” reporting.
STARTING SALARY: $130,956.80 annually CLOSING DATE: Upon filling position
