We are looking for a seasoned analyst to join our counterspace team at the National Space Intelligence Center (NSIC), providing mission-critical analytic support to the warfighter and to national and joint-service customers. The candidate’s responsibilities will be to provide scientific and technical all-source intelligence on foreign counterspace control systems, equipment, and technologies, blending multi-INT analysis with a technical understating of the ground-based architecture which enables foreign threat systems. The successful candidate will provide information discovery, compilation, analysis, and production on adversary space threat system characteristics, capabilities, performance, and vulnerabilities, and offer analytic tradecraft mentorship as needed.

Required Skills • Must be self-motivated and work well in both team and individual settings

• Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task and set priorities

• Knowledge of processes, databases, and tools of analytical tradecraft

• Excellent communication skills

• Strong technical writing skills (In accordance with ICD 203/206 standards)

Required Experience • Experience in intelligence analysis on foreign space threat systems

• Experience developing improved intelligence analytic methodologies

• Experience briefing decision makers on findings

• Experience writing analytic reports

• Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility

Desired Qualifications • BS Degree in Aerospace Engineering (or similar) and four years of experience or 8 years’ experience in lieu of degree
