Role Overview This role sits within Cboe’s Trade Desk organization with a strong slant toward listings and corporate actions. The role will serve as a primary point of contact for issuers, custodians, Lead Market Makers (LMMs), and other market participants on corporate actions (ticker and CUSIP changes, fund rebranding, stock splits) and new listings, while also handling day-to-day Trade Desk support tied to those listed symbols — fielding trade and auction-related questions, resolving order issues, and supporting new listing launches. This blend builds deep listings and corporate actions expertise while keeping the role fully embedded in core Trade Desk operations.
Key Responsibilities • Coordinate and communicate issuer corporate actions to market participants, ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of information related to ticker changes, CUSIP changes, fund rebranding, reverse/forward splits, and other corporate events.
• Provide first-level customer support to issuers and Lead Market Makers (LMMs) related to their listings and any trade- or auction-related scenarios, escalating and resolving issues as needed.
• Monitor daily distribution processes to ensure the timely and accurate processing of all records, reports, and distribution bulletins.
• Manage the equity listings process, including ISRA symbol reservations, notifications, and active monitoring of IPO and new issue auctions.
• Assist issuers and custodians with setting up and maintaining account access to the Cboe Issuer Portal and manage all related changes.
• Oversee the tickets required to begin trading new symbols on the Exchange, for both new Cboe-listed symbols and transferred symbols.
• Execute the daily back-end data report that feeds the Symbol Reservation Tool, ensuring accurate and timely data delivery.
• Utilize Cboe proprietary tools, including AI to research issuer, listing, and trading data in support of customer and business team requests.
• Collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams — particularly the Listings sales team and Cboe technology teams — on corporate action, listing, and trading changes.
• Liaise with business associates, customers, and software engineers to define, test, and roll out new features affecting listings and corporate actions systems.
• Update internal technical and operations procedures within the company’s Confluence space; draft technical notices related to listings and corporate action events.
• Participate in on-call and weekend testing rotations as needed, including support for new listing launches and auction events.
Requirements • 3+ years of experience in the securities/trading industry.
• Working knowledge of U.S. equities markets and corporate actions processes.
• Exceptional written, analytical, and customer service skills.
• High level of organization and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in the MS Office Suite, including Excel.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities under deadline pressure.
Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Financial Services, Communications, or a related discipline.
• Prior experience with corporate actions, listings, or exchange operations.
• Experience in a regulatory, compliance, and/or legal environment.
• Familiarity with AI LLMs, Confluence, and/or JIRA.
