Summary of Job Duties: The Computer Support Assistant serve as front-line support for staff and students in the Student Success Center and supported departments. Primary duties include assisting in system deployments, surplus, and responsiveness to IT support requests. CSA’s maintain documentation and communication status of work and requests while maintaining a positive helping relationship with staff, faculty, and students. In addition, CSA’s must be willing to learn both software and hardware capabilities of the Student Success Center. The Student Success Center is committed to maintaining a welcoming and inclusive environment in all of its working locations. Some evening and weekend hours may be required as part of this position. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: • Must be enrolled at the University of Arkansas in current or upcoming classes

• Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher (that is academic probation standard)

Preferred Qualifications: • Major in an IT-related field

• Cumulative GPA 2.5 or higher

• Customer service experience

• Good communication skills

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs): • Ability to maintain a high level of customer service while adhering to departmental and university standards

• Ability to quickly analyze computer system problems or errors

• Ability to efficiently prioritize technical needs and requirements

• Moderate understanding of computer system hardware and operating system processes
