Job Description:

We are looking for experienced Software QA Engineers skilled in networking, security, tunnel and route orchestration, and IDPS. Candidates will handle manual test validation, performance/scale testing, and automation of our security and cloud solutions. Experience with complex network system validation and Python scripting for automation is required.

Required Qualifications: • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. • Experience: 8-15 years as a Senior software QA Engineer in networking/security environment.

Key Technical Skills:

Networking & Security: • Strong understanding of the OSI model and networking protocols, including TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, HTTP, DNS, routing protocols and VLANs, as well as familiarity with SAML, SNMP, GRE, IPSEC, Syslog, MDM, and SSH.

• Skilled in designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases for complex network orchestration, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDPS), and cloud deployment network solutions. • Proficient in route/tunnel orchestration solutions, IDPS, threat modelling, security practices, and Cloud products/IaaS (AWS, Azure). • Experienced in log analysis, issue debugging, and effective collaboration with cross functional teams to address customer/field issues. • Expertise in configuring a wide range of security devices, such as firewalls, VPNs, IDPS, switches, and routers. • Strong proficiency in data networking, encompassing Layer 2/Layer 3 switching, routing, and WLAN technologies. • Practical experience with configuration and testing of Active Directory, LDAP, and other authentication sources.

Virtualization & Cloud Technologies: • Strong hands-on experience with VMware, KVM, Hyper-V. • Experience testing Security/Cloud products (AWS, Azure). • Knowledge/Experience in testing applications for Public Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Cloud) • Exposure to container-based technologies and Kubernetes 

System load and performance testing expertise • Experience with load/performance test systems such as Breaking Point and Spirent. • System scale, performance and/or solution-level testing experience. • Strong command of Linux CLI commands and Bash scripting.

Test Automation & Scripting: • Proficiency in Test automation development using Python, debugging failures, maintenance of scripts. • Experience in test script development for automated validation using Pytest framework.

Job: Engineering Job Level: TCP_04      The expected salary/wage range for this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. – United States of America: Annual Salary USD 155,500 - 315,000 in California The listed salary range reflects base salary. Variable incentives may also be offered.
