Summary of Job Duties: We are seeking a dedicated leader to join our team as the Clinical Services Manager (CSM), overseeing the daily operations of the nursing department within our Orthopedics and Sports Medicine clinic. The CSM partners with regional leadership to translate UAMS strategic priorities into everyday clinical practice, maintaining regulatory compliance, payer requirements, and organizational standards. This role drives evidence-based practice, supports professional growth, and fosters cross-functional collaboration to deliver exceptional patient experiences in a fast-paced specialty clinic.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical management, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of driving quality outcomes in a healthcare setting. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
• Five (5) or more years of clinical experience in the field of Nursing
• At least three (3) years of experience in a leadership capacity
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Arkansas.
• Current BLS certification or must successfully obtain certification within the first 30 days of employment.
Preferred Qualifications: • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree
• Ambulatory clinic experience
• National Nursing Certification
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: • Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance
• Proficient in using healthcare software and databases

Additional Information: Key Responsibilities: • Lead daily nursing operations, ensuring efficient staffing, development, budgeting, patient satisfaction, professional growth, and quality outcomes.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to align clinical operations with UAMS goals, payer requirements, government regulations, and internal performance metrics.
• Implement and uphold the organization’s vision, mission, philosophy, core values, evidence-based practices, and nursing support services.
• Practice within the scope and standards of UAMS, the American Nurses Association, and Nursing’s Social Policy Statement.
• Drive continuous improvement in patient experience, safety, and clinical quality metrics.
• Develop staffing plans, manage budgets, and monitor resource utilization.
