About this role
Rocky Mountain Multiple Sclerosis Clinic is seeking an experienced Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) to help reestablish and grow our clinical research program focused on neurological disease.
This is an opportunity for an experienced coordinator who thrives with autonomy, takes ownership of their studies, and wants to play a meaningful role in building a high-quality research program. You’ll work closely with physicians, research leadership, sponsors, and patients to coordinate industry-sponsored neurology trials while helping shape the workflows and processes that support the program as it grows.
For someone interested in research leadership, this role also offers the opportunity to advance into a Research Supervisor position and lead a team of research coordinators as the program expands.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Coordinate assigned clinical trials from study start-up through closeout
- Serve as a primary point of contact for study participants, sponsors, CROs, and monitors
- Identify and pre-screen potential participants and coordinate screening, enrollment, and study visits
- Perform protocol-required procedures within scope and training, including vital signs, ECGs, phlebotomy, specimen processing and shipment, questionnaires, and rating scales
- Maintain accurate and timely source documentation, case report forms, and EDC data; resolve queries as needed
- Maintain regulatory and essential study documentation in accordance with ICH-GCP, sponsor requirements, and applicable regulations
- Coordinate site initiation, monitoring, audit, and closeout visits
- Maintain close communication with investigators regarding patient status, adverse events, protocol deviations, dose modifications, and other study requirements
- Participate in sponsor meetings, investigator meetings, and required study training
- Help develop efficient research workflows and processes as the clinical research program grows
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical research coordination experience, preferably with interventional clinical trials
- Experience independently coordinating study visits and managing day-to-day study requirements
- Working knowledge of ICH-GCP and clinical research regulations
- Authorization to work in the US
- Experience with EDC systems, source documentation, regulatory documentation, and sponsor monitoring
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with physicians, patients, sponsors, and research teams
- Comfortable performing patient-facing study procedures such as phlebotomy and ECGs within appropriate scope and training
WHY JOIN US
This is an opportunity to join at an important stage in the development of our research program. You’ll have the ability to take meaningful ownership of your studies, work directly with physicians and research leadership, and help shape how clinical research is integrated into an established outpatient neurology practice.
As the program grows, there is an opportunity for this position to advance into research leadership, including supervising and developing a team of research coordinators.
