Position Summary Coordinates daily operations of the Center including physician support, patient services, staff supervision, and organizational management. Participates in the strategic planning and overall development of the Center.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Clinic Operations

• Oversee daily operations of the Urology clinic and ensure efficient patient flow. • Coordinate clinic schedules, staffing, room utilization, and provider coverage. Monitor clinic productivity, access, and appointment availability. • Identify workflow issues and implement solutions to improve efficiency. • Ensure clinic operations comply with Department of Surgery and organizational policies. • Work with leadership to develop and implement operational goals.

Staff Leadership and Management

• Directly supervise and support clinic staff, including MAs, LPN’s, RN’s other assigned personnel. • Develop staff schedules and ensure appropriate daily coverage. • Provide onboarding, training, coaching, and ongoing performance feedback. • Address performance and attendance concerns in collaboration with HR and department leadership. • Conduct staff meetings and communicate operational changes and expectations. • Promote teamwork, accountability, professionalism, and positive working relationships.

Physician and APP Support • Serve as a primary operational contact for Urology physicians and APPs. • Work with providers to identify and resolve clinic workflow and staffing concerns. • Coordinate changes to clinic schedules and communicate changes to appropriate staff. • Support physicians and APPs in maintaining efficient clinic operations and patient access.

Patient Care and Experience • Monitor patient flow and identify barriers that may delay care. • Address patient concerns and complaints and ensure appropriate follow-up. • Work with staff to improve communication with patients and families. • Help ensure patients receive consistent and appropriate service throughout their visit.

Clinical Workflow Support • Oversee workflows related to procedures performed in the Urology clinic. • Coordinate appropriate staffing and supplies for clinic procedures. • Ensure staff understand their responsibilities related to procedures and provider support.

Scheduling and Access • Monitor provider schedules and appointment availability. • Work with scheduling staff to maximize available clinic and procedure capacity. • Identify scheduling problems and develop solutions with the appropriate teams. • Ensure scheduling practices follow established Urology and organizational guidelines. • Coordinate with centralized scheduling and other departments when necessary.

Quality, Safety, and Compliance • Promote adherence to patient safety and quality standards. • Monitor compliance with organizational policies and procedures. • Identify opportunities to reduce errors and improve processes. • Participate in quality improvement initiatives. • Ensure staff complete required training and competencies. • Escalate clinical, safety, or operational concerns appropriately.

Required Qualifications

Basic Life Support - American Heart Association, Basic Life Support - American Red Cross Work Experience: Clinical Office (5 Years) Skills: Not Applicable Driver's License: A driver's license is not required for this position.

More About This Job Required Qualifications: • Basic Life Support certification must be obtained within one month of hire date • Basic Life Support certification (Online BLS certifications, those without a skills assessment component, are not sufficient to meet the BLS requirements).

Salary Range $70,600.00 - $109,500.00 / Annually

Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
