About this role
Looking for your next opportunity in the kitchen? Whether you're ready to step up or simply want to be part of an experienced, supportive team, Australian Venue Co. is recruiting chefs across several of Brisbane's most iconic venues.
We're currently hiring Commis Chefs, Demi Chefs and Chef de Parties to join our growing teams at venues including: • Regatta Hotel
• Boundary Hotel
• Riverland Brisbane
• Lord Alfred Hotel
• Plus additional Brisbane locations
From bustling riverside venues and historic pubs to vibrant dining destinations, each venue offers a unique environment where you can grow your career while working alongside passionate hospitality professionals.
What You'll Be Doing • Preparing and delivering high-quality meals during busy service periods
• Maintaining exceptional food quality, presentation and consistency
• Supporting stock control, food safety and kitchen organisation
• Working collaboratively within a fast-paced kitchen brigade
• Contributing ideas and maintaining high operational standards
What We're Looking For • Previous experience in a commercial kitchen
• A passion for producing quality food
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced service environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Availability to work a rotating roster, including nights and weekends
