About this role
Job Summary Assembler III / Certified Welder is responsible for fabricating component parts or assembling the finished product according to the customer's specifications. Secures and maintains correct component parts and supplies required for the operation.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities • Welder responsibilities • Completes work area setup • Fits parts together in accordance with the prescribed manner and in accordance with quality standards • Operates equipment and tools as required to complete the assembly process • Prevents and controls waste of raw material • Conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance with standards • Ensures work area is safe, clean and organized, and that equipment is safe to operate • Completes pre-shift startup equipment inspection checklist and reports any problems or concerns • Maintains a clean and orderly work environment • Provides basic TPM to equipment and completes TPM paperwork when required • Maintains production records as required • Performs duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards • Participates in safety, CI, and other programs and meetings • Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications • High school diploma/GED preferred but not required • Minimum 6 months of experience assembling components or specialty products is required 1 year of experience or more is preferred. • Working knowledge of basic math • May have certification in area of expertise including welding, etc. • Must be at least 18 years of age
Hourly/Salary Pay Range: $50,000 - $100,000 annually dependent on experience* *pay range may be adjusted depending on cost of living Bonus/Incentive Pay For hourly positions with incentive pay: Incentive pay may be available for certain job roles and may include piece rate incentives, weekly production bonuses, and trip rate bonuses. A discretionary annual bonus based on Company and business unit performance may also be provided.
