Job Description
This 10-week internship program ( June 7, 2027 - August 13, 2027 ) offers a set hourly rate of $41.50 an hour and a potential pathway to full-time opportunities with Fannie Mae .
This position has multiple openings and may be based in our Reston, VA (Reston Town Center) and Plano, TX (Granite Park) offices.

As a Technology Program Intern , you enjoy solving complex technical challenges and thrive in collaborative, team-oriented environments. Through hands-on experience and exposure to some of the industry's leading technology professionals, you will develop the skills and knowledge needed to create solutions that meet the needs of our customers and business partners.
In this role, you may contribute to the design, development, testing, and implementation of software, technology, and business processes. Working alongside experienced engineers and technology professionals, you will help implement modern technologies and maintain tools using industry-standard best practices. This opportunity allows you to apply your technical foundation and process-driven mindset to deliver innovative solutions that support both our customers and internal stakeholders.

• Providing support to production applications, troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading existing software
• Recommending and executing improvements to both the software and development process
• Creating scalable, automated solutions to support business needs
• Gathering and evaluate user feedback
• Writing and maintaining tests to ensure solutions are compatible and retain stability
• Managing Data platforms and tools, monitoring production logs, analyzing data to determine root
