The Business Performance Improvement (BPI) practice is seeking a   Director   to join our growing Financial Services team .

Directors are focused on developing business opportunities in the marketplace and are valuable leaders within our organization and the business community. Directors pride themselves on client satisfaction and, as leaders on engagements, ensure that each engagement project is performed to Protiviti's standards of quality and meets the needs of the client. Directors, partnering with the Managing Directors, ensure that each client project is completed with the client satisfied with our service and the quality of our work. Directors develop lasting relationships within the business community and are respected for their areas of expertise — shaping and executing enterprise process excellence strategy with executive stakeholders across banking, capital markets, and wealth and asset management clients.

• You take the lead role in   maintaining   primary contact with significant clients while managing their expectations, project scope, and related operational matters.  

• You enjoy   participating   in engagement sales opportunities and consistently develop work   at   existing clients.  

• You have an interest in converting client business challenges into   additional   sales opportunities.  

• You enjoy discovering new opportunities with current and potential clients through thought leadership, proposal writing, and client interactions.  

• You design and develop thought leadership materials to   be shared   with your colleagues and your network.  

• You promote Protiviti's mission, vision, and values and encourage collaboration across your teams to ensure effective execution.  

• You have an inherent interest in project management and team leadership, directing cross-functional teams across process intelligence, re-engineering, and AI/automation to implement scalable solutions.  

Do Your Talents Include the Following?  

• Advanced verbal and written communication skills, including documentation of findings and recommendations.  

• Experience evaluating existing business processes, recommending enhancements, and implementing changes at scale, including building enterprise process inventories and repeatable process transformation playbooks.  

• Experience   assisting   clients with managing change through the implementation of proposed recommendations.  

• Experience leading significant client checkpoint meetings related to project progress.  

• Experience leading transformational finance and accounting projects, including investor/fund performance reporting and month-end close optimization.  

• Strong interpersonal skills to interact in a team environment and foster client relationships.  

• Experience   participating   in or leading business development opportunities.  

• Knowledge of finance strategy development and process improvement, including order-to-cash,   procure -to-pay, and record-to-report.  

• Strong understanding of shared services and global business services design and implementation, including Target Operating Model (TOM) design, managed services, and offshoring advisory

• Experience in robotic process automation and intelligent automation, outsourcing and offshoring advisory, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), financial close, consolidation, and reporting.  

• Proficiency   with process and task mining tools such as Microsoft Power Automate, UiPath, and   Celonis , and process mapping/BPMN tools such as SAP   Signavio , IBM   Blueworks , Nintex Process Manager, and Microsoft Visio.  

• Experience supporting accounting transitions, including lease accounting, revenue recognition, reconciliation, and restatement support.  

• Experience supervising teams, including performance appraisal,   mentoring   and   coaching,   work   oversight and review , cross-team   coordination , and team member motivation .  

Your Educational and Professional Qualifications:  

• Bachelor's degree, in a relevant discipline (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Information Technology   or Business-Related Field);   Master's degree in Accountancy   or related field   is   a plus.

• 1 5 + years of experience leading teams within a consulting or financial services environment in one or more of: finance operating model design, performance management, shared services design and implementation, outsourcing advisory, and process/digital transformation.  

• Proficiency   in Microsoft Office 365 suite applications.  

• Professional Certification such as CPA, CIA, CFE, or similar strongly preferred.  

It is expected that you will   reside   within a reasonable daily commute of your assigned Protiviti home office by your start date. Protiviti employees work in a hybrid environment which means you will   be required   to work from a variety of locations including your Protiv
