The Business Exp & Planning Manager Sr leads cross-functional efforts to enhance business planning methodologies and drive execution of key line-of-business strategies. This role is responsible for defining strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment across the organization, and delivering measurable business outcomes while upholding strong customer focus, leadership standards, and risk management practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Strategic Planning & Execution

- Define and implement business planning processes that align with line-of-business objectives

- Design and oversee execution of strategic plans grounded in forecasts, operational insights, and business priorities

- Establish and drive key initiatives, growth strategies, and programs that deliver measurable impact

- Leadership & Team Management

- Lead and develop a team responsible for advancing business planning practices and execution

- Set clear direction, provide guidance, and ensure accountability for achieving business objectives

- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, best practices, and knowledge sharing

- Business & Financial Alignment

- Develop solutions that support both operational and financial objectives

- Identify and execute opportunities that create value and improve business performance

- Ensure initiatives are aligned with broader organizational goals and priorities

- Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers

- Drive alignment and synergy across business units and functional areas

- Influence outcomes through effective communication, negotiation, and partnership

- Risk Management & Customer Focus

- Champion high standards of quality, customer focus, and leadership practices

- Integrate appropriate risk management into planning processes and execution activities

- Ensure decisions and strategies are aligned with enterprise risk and control frameworks

- Best Practices & Continuous Improvement

- Lead the development and implementation of best practices in business planning and execution

- Continuously assess and refine planning approaches to improve effectiveness and efficiency

Qualifications

- Extensive experience in business planning, strategy development, or program management

- Proven leadership experience managing teams and driving cross-functional initiatives

- Strong ability to translate business strategy into actionable plans and measurable outcomes

- Demonstrated success in stakeholder management and influencing senior decision-makers

- Deep understanding of risk management practices and customer-focused service delivery

- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

Job Description • Manages cross-functional teams to improve line of business planning methods. Defines key line of business initiatives and growth strategies and programs that will drive line of business objectives. Demonstrates commitment to quality by delivering customer focus, appropriate risk management practices and leadership standards to customers and/or internal partners. • Responsible for defining and implementing business planning processes. Designs strategic plans based on forecasts, and provides improvement recommendations. • Creates solutions to meet business operational and financial objectives. Identifies and executes opportunities that add value to the business and to achieve business goals. • Develops strong partnerships with key decision makers to ensure cross-business and cross-functional alignment and synergy. • Leads a team that develops and implements best practices and learning plans to meet business objectives.
