This position is responsible for the strategic business management, product management, and commercialization of Siemens Healthineers advanced MRI portfolio, including ultra-high-field, investigational devices, and PET/MR systems. The position requires deep technical expertise, strong project leadership, excellent communication skills, relationship management and the ability to guide highly complex projects from initial customer engagement through installation, regulatory compliance, and long-term customer success. As a Business Development Manager – MR , you will be responsible for : • You will lead business and product management activities for the Ultra-high field MRI (7T+) portfolio, supporting commercial growth, product enhancements, and collaboration with global development teams. • You will lead business and product management activities for the PET/MR portfolio, supporting commercial growth, product enhancements, and collaboration with global development teams. • You will partner with sales teams and customers to advance strategic opportunities from concept through installation, providing technical, commercial, and funding support. • You will oversee the business, operational, and compliance processes for investigational and pre-commercial imaging systems throughout their lifecycle. • You will lead complex cross-functional initiatives, collaborating with internal and global stakeholders to achieve business objectives and drive organizational success.
This position may suit you best if you are familiar with what is below, and would like to do develop your career with Healthineers: • You have extensive experience leading product strategy and commercialization efforts within MRI, PET/MR, medical imaging, or other advanced healthcare technology markets. • You understand the complexities of FDA-regulated medical devices and can confidently navigate investigational, regulatory, and commercialization requirements. • You are passionate about advancing cutting-edge MRI technologies and enjoy shaping product strategy, commercialization, and market adoption for innovative healthcare solutions. • You thrive at the intersection of science, technology, and business, partnering with researchers, clinicians, and customers to turn complex opportunities into successful outcomes. • You have successfully guided products from concept to commercialization, driving adoption, growth, and long-term market success. • You can confidently navigate investigational device requirements, regulatory processes, and cross-functional business operations to bring new technologies to market. • You are a highly effective communicator who builds strong relationships with customers, researchers, and stakeholders and are willing to travel to support strategic business and research initiatives.
Required skills to have for the success of this role: • Bachelor's degree in engineering, biomedical engineering, life sciences, business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. • Expertise in advanced medical imaging technologies (Preferred: Ultra-high-field MRI (7T+) and PET/MR systems.) • Knowledge of medical device regulatory requirements, investigational device processes, and import/export compliance within a regulated environment. • Willingness to travel up to 50%.

The base pay range for this position is:
$172,680 - $237,435 Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
