About this role

Job Description MileOne Mercedes-Benz is presently seeking a team lead for its BDC Customer Service department at our flagship location in Silver Spring.

The ideal candidate for this position should be a self-motivated individual with strong initiative, excellent time management, and organizational abilities, adept at multitasking while paying close attention to detail.  They should be goal-oriented, possess proficient skills in Excel and computing, display enthusiasm, be open to coaching, exhibit reliability, and demonstrate effective written and verbal communication.  A positive attitude, high energy, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential. Some work experience including call handling and product marketing is preferred. Additionally, a solid dedication to ensuring maximum customer satisfaction is crucial. • Compensation: $23 per hour bi-weekly compensation with a performance-based commission structure • Schedule: Full Time 8:00 AM-5:00PM, Monday - Friday, with Saturday hours periodically based on business conditions

Job Responsibilities for BDC Customer Service Team Lead: As a BDC Team Leader, you will be responsible for building, maintaining and leading a team of BDC coordinators who are dedicated to increasing service and parts traffic through phone calls, email, chat, and text. Your team’s goal will be to set service appointments and contact commercial parts leads to positively impact service and parts volume while meeting customer satisfaction standards and conducting business ethically and professionally. Your specific duties in this role will include, but are not limited to: • Lead a team of BDC coordinators • Set appointment goals and objectives for your team based on input from your managers • Analyzes trends and develops plans to achieve the dealership's goals.  • Track results and run daily, weekly, and monthly reports.  • Provide hiring input and training of BDC coordinators.  • Establishes practices to ensure exceptional customer service.
