The Security Team’s primary goal is to ensure and enhance the safety and well-being of the Founders of Acquisition.com http://Acquisition.com, employees, guests, vendors, and VIPs while also safeguarding the integrity of the building itself.

As a Security Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the physical security of both the people and the facilities at Acquisition.com http://Acquisition.com Headquarters in Las Vegas, NV. You will engage with staff and guests in a professional, courteous manner and serve as both a security specialist and an ambassador for the company, representing our values in every interaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Greet all visitors, guests, and vendors, and implement enhanced security protocols during major events, including baggage checks and the use of metal detection devices.

- Interact professionally with employees, guests, and vendors at all times, ensuring a positive and secure atmosphere.

- Provide a vigilant security presence to ensure a safe and secure environment at headquarters.

- Monitor CCTV and alarm systems, ensuring prompt response to any irregularities.

- Secure all entry and exit points, granting access only to those on the designated list.

- Conduct regular patrols of the property, both inside and outside the building.

- Accurately complete detailed incident reports as required, ensuring thorough documentation.

- Immediately report any suspicious activity to the Building Security Manager and follow established procedures for handling such situations.

- Maintain a calm and professional demeanor when interacting with agitated or aggressive individuals.

- Respond to medical emergencies, provide aid as needed, and ensure proper documentation of the incident.

- Uphold a high level of physical fitness and firearms proficiency to perform duties effectively.

- Utilize tools such as Google Suite, computer software, and mobile apps essential for Security Team operations.

- Collaborate with Executive Protection as directed by the Building Security Manager.

- Manage the collection of packages, deliveries, and mail, ensuring the appropriate team members are notified.

- Perform additional related tasks as necessary to support the security function.

RESULTS:

- A welcoming yet secure environment, ensuring all individuals entering the premises are properly vetted, enhancing overall event safety.

- Reduced security risks through constant monitoring and deterrence of potential threats, fostering a secure atmosphere for all occupants.

- Rapid escalation of potential threats to ensure quick, effective resolution, minimizing risks to personnel and property.

- Comprehensive coverage of the premises, preventing unauthorized access and ensuring early detection of security issues.

- Clear, thorough documentation of security incidents, supporting future investigations and maintaining accountability.

- Timely medical assistance and proper documentation, ensuring the well-being of individuals and compliance with safety regulations.

- De-escalation of tense situations, reducing the likelihood of conflict and maintaining a peaceful work environment.

- Positive, respectful interactions that reinforce the company’s professional image while maintaining security standards.

- Secure handling of all deliveries, preventing unauthorized access to sensitive materials.

- A flexible and adaptive approach to security, ensuring all potential threats are addressed comprehensively.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Minimum three years armed security or law enforcement experience.

- Must be 21 years of age or older.

- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background investigation.

- Must live in Las Vegas, NV

- Valid Driver’s License.

- Own or willing to purchase a semiautomatic handgun and level 3 retention holster

- Own black tactical pants and black shineable leather boots.

- Ability to wear duty belt for duration of 8 hour shift with tools including but not limited to, OC, handcuffs, baton, flashlight, tourniquet, loaded magazines, and Duty Weapon.

- Successfully complete company-provided firearms training and qualification.

- Successfully complete the Physical Fitness Test prior to start of employment, and annually in March thereafter.

- Successfully complete company-provided first aid, CPR/AED, use of force, and hands-on/defensive tactics trainings within 8 weeks of start date and periodically thereafter as required.

- Nice to have - valid Nevada CCW/LEOSA

LOCATION:

- Las Vegas, Nevada (Onsite)

SCHEDULE:

- 1 open shift: - Grave: Monday - Friday 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Off Saturday & Sunday)

COMPENSATION:

- $55,000 - $65,000 Annual Salary + Benefits
