Position Overview : As part of the talented team, you will become a key contributor to the success of Lund and Crestliner iconic brands and be able to manage inventory and purchase orders while displaying strong technical business knowledge.
At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver. • Govern material requirements and deliveries for assigned parts, commodities, and suppliers • Communicate with manufacturing, engineering, and purchasing suppliers to determine constraints • Partner with suppliers and accounts payable to resolve invoice issues • Optimize inventory levels by using JIT/lean principles • Lead and support Lean Six Sigma initiatives that drive improvements • Manage inventory and purchase orders for costs and projects • Analyze requirements for the validity areas with demands • Improve supplier quality levels, delivery, and warranty issues
Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way. Required Qualifications: • A bachelor’s degree required and advanced degree is preferred • 2+ years of purchasing & materials control in a manufacturing environment • Technical savvy with Excel data skills with technical business knowledge • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Experience in negotiations and problem solving with suppliers • Purchasing certifications and/or MRP, MRO and Kanban experience preferred • Excellent time management, interpersonal and analytical skills • Strong decision making, organizational and creative problem-solving skills with the ability to overcome unforeseen obstacles
The anticipated pay range for this position is $59,000 - $85,000 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
