About this role

Behavior Therapist (BT) — ABA Therapy

Starting at $24–$26/hr | Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM | No Evenings or Weekends

ANNA Autism Care is hiring passionate Behavior Therapists (BTs) to deliver evidence-based, 1-on-1 therapy to children with Autism using the Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Intervention (NDBI) approach. Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is a condition of employment for this role — and ANNA makes it easy: we provide the required RBT training and cover the cost of certification at no expense to you, with paid training time and extensive clinical supervision at our center-based Autism care centers across Massachusetts.

What ANNA Autism Care Offers:

- Competitive Pay + Retention Bonus: $24–$26/hr starting pay, plus a $400 retention bonus after 6 months of employment.

- Comprehensive Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company matching, and paid time off.

- Consistent Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. No evenings, no weekends.

- Full-Time Hours: 25–35 hours per week with a stable clinic-based schedule working with 5–7 clients in a clinical pod.

- Free RBT Certification: ANNA provides the RBT 40-hour training, supervised competency assessment, and first certification exam attempt at no cost to you — with paid training time and a certification bonus for completing your RBT training within 2 weeks of starting.

- Paid Training & Weekly Supervision: Extensive paid onboarding plus weekly clinical supervision and ongoing mentorship from BCBAs.

- Career Advancement: Clear promotion paths for BTs at every stage, including BCBA sponsorship for top performers (Master's in ABA tuition covered by ANNA).

- Supportive Team Culture: Monthly team lunches, seasonal celebrations, summer events, and a community that grows together.

Key Responsibilities:

- Implement individualized ABA therapy plans under BCBA supervision to teach new skills in communication and socialization while reducing any challenging, injurious behaviors.

- Deliver play-based, child-centered therapy using the NDBI framework.

- Collect accurate session data to measure each client's progress toward treatment plan goals, and communicate progress with clinical supervisors.

- Assist BCBAs with assessment procedures (e.g., preference assessments and skill or behavior assessments) as directed.

- Comply with applicable supervision standards, including participating in scheduled BCBA supervision and completing all required supervision and session documentation.

- Obtain and maintain active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification in good standing, including BACB supervision, renewal, and ethics requirements.

- Build positive relationships with children and families, providing caregivers with daily updates.

- Maintain a safe, organized and engaging therapy environment.

Qualifications:

- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification — required as a condition of employment. Candidates who are not yet certified must complete ANNA's paid RBT training program (40-hour training, supervised competency assessment, and certification exam — all provided by ANNA at no cost) and obtain certification within the timeframe set by ANNA's onboarding policy. Certification must be maintained in good standing throughout employment.

- Available Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

- Passionate about working with children with Autism and eager to grow in the ABA field.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Degree in Psychology, Education, Child Development, or related field preferred (not required).

- Experience working with children preferred.

- Able to perform physically active tasks: sitting on the floor, crawling, running, lifting up to 50 lbs, and maintaining close proximity to clients during sessions.
