Bauer: Préposé aux patins professionnels (journalier de production)

About this role

Poste permanent (40h par semaine) du lundi au vendredi (7h à 15h30), au sein de l’unité de production des produits professionnels, située à Blainville. Relevant du Gestionnaire de la production, vous serez responsable d’effectuer l’assemblage complet des patins professionnels.

Salaire à l'embauche: 24.65$/h

Fonctions principales:

• Être en mesure d’effectuer plusieurs opérations telles que:

• Taillage : à la main, à la machine & modifications au besoin;

• Préparation : traçage, œillets, préparation, collage et amincir des pièces;

• Montage : mise en forme, machine à former et capacité à faire les ajustements selon les produits/grandeurs;

• Assemblage : sablage, collage & presse à semelle, pose de lame.

• Effectuer la finition du produit : emballage, nettoyage et retouches finales.

Exigences minimales:

• Détenir un diplôme d’études secondaire (DES);

• Posséder trois (3) à cinq (5) années d’expérience dans un environnement de fabrication;

• Savoir lire des instructions écrites, écrire et compter;

• Être en mesure d’ajuster les paramètres adéquats pour chaque opération;

• Capacité à accomplir des tâches demandant un effort physique;

• Être capable de travailler assis et/ou debout;

• Vous devez être en mesure de soulever des pièces ou équipements pesants de 10 à 20 kg.

• Posséder une facilité d’apprentissage et une flexibilité quant aux tâches de travail;

Le.la candidat.e idéal.e doit être disponible à travailler du temps supplémentaire du lundi au jeudi (de 15h30 à 17h30) lorsque requis (habituellement débutant au printemps et se terminant à l’automne).

Permanent position (40 hours per week) Monday through Friday (7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.) in the Production Facility located in Blainville, Quebec, Canada. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for the complete assembly of professional skates.

Main duties:

• Be able to perform various operations such as:

• Cutting: by hand, by machine, and modifications as needed;

• Preparation: marking, eyelets, preparation, gluing, and thinning parts;

• Forming: shaping, using a forming machine, and the ability to make adjustments based on products/sizes;

• Assembly: sanding, gluing & sole press, blade installation.

• Performing product finishing: packaging, cleaning, and final touches.

• Minimum Requirements:

• Hold a high school diploma (DES);

• Have three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment;

• Be able to read written instructions, write, and perform basic math;

• Be able to set the appropriate parameters for each operation;

• Ability to perform tasks requiring physical effort;

• Be able to work while sitting and/or standing;

• You must be able to lift parts or equipment weighing 10 to 20 kg.

The ideal candidate must be available to work overtime Monday through Thursday (from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.) when required (typically beginning in the spring and ending in the fall)
