3. Product Cross-Selling & Capital Deployment • Platform Cross-Selling: Drive revenue growth by identifying client needs and cross-selling the full spectrum of Citi products, including cash management, trade finance, foreign exchange, debt capital markets (DCM), share repurchases, and interest rate/equity derivatives. • Capital Optimization: Assist in the efficient deployment of the firm's capital, navigating the lending and credit approval processes in alignment with Citi's return thresholds. • Customized Solutions: Work with product specialists and subject matter experts to structure innovative, customized solutions that address the unique liquidity, clearing, and investment needs of FFIs.
4. Risk, Compliance & Portfolio Controls • KYC & Onboarding Ownership: Work closely with onboarding managers to ensure flawless execution of "Know Your Client" (KYC) and other compliance deliverables, which are subject to heightened scrutiny in the Foreign Financial Institutions space. • Early Warning Detection: Demonstrate an advanced level of Early Warning Detection skills to identify potential credit, operational, or reputational risks within the portfolio before they materialize. • Risk & Reputation Safeguarding: Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
Qualifications & Skills • Experience: 6–10 years of relevant experience in corporate banking, transaction banking, or financial institutions coverage (FIG). • Product Knowledge: Sound understanding of Corporate Banking business, capital markets products, derivatives, credit/lending processes, cash management, trade finance, and securities products. • Licensing: SIE, Series 79 and 63 licenses are preferred and will be required within 150 days of joining. • Risk Acumen: Demonstrated understanding of compliance issues, global/local regulatory requirements, and advanced Early Warning Detection skills. • Analytical Skills: Strong planning, negotiation, organizational, and analytical skills, with a proven ability to evaluate complex financial data and public filings. • Communication: Consistently demonstrate clear, concise, and persuasive written and verbal communication skills.
