B-52 Product Support Supply Chain Manager

Company: Boeing Aerospace Operations

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is looking for a Product Support Supply Chain Manager  to support the team in San Antonio, Texas .

Position Responsibilities: • Inventory management of aircraft kitted and rotatable parts, consumables and emergent parts • Toolroom management, facilities management and plant and equipment maintenance, technical management of external supply chain and coordination with third party vendors to support site requirements

• Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals

• Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, business partners and direct reports

• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

• Participates in equipment make/buy decisions; participates in source selection and provides technical oversight of suppliers

• Manages, develops and motivates employees

First Line Leader Assessment: To be considered for this position you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process. Failure to complete the assessment will remove you from consideration

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”

• 3+ years of experience working in a computer-based inventory management system or warehouse management system

• 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Sourcing, Supplier Management, and Supply Chain Planning

• Experience working with internal and external customers and suppliers

Preferred Qualifications: • 3+ years of experience managing teams

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $114,750.00 – $155,250.00

Security Clearance: This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
