As an Audit Associate, you will engage in financial statement audits, contributing to the transparency and integrity of financial reporting. Within our Assurance practice, you will develop your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work, focusing on building meaningful client connections and learning how to manage and inspire others. You will navigate increasingly complex situations, growing your personal brand and deepening your technical skills.  In this role at PwC, you will be exposed to client engagements, where you will learn to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients. You will embrace ambiguity, ask questions, and use these challenges as opportunities for growth. Your work will involve applying auditing methodologies and complying with regulations to provide independent assessments. Responsibilities

- Conducting financial statement audits to assess compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) - Applying auditing methodologies to evaluate internal controls and identify potential risks - Reviewing and verifying financial documents to validate accuracy and adherence to accounting policies - Analyzing financial trends and data to provide insights and recommendations for client decision-making - Collaborating with team members to document processes and improve audit efficiency - Utilizing data analysis and interpretation skills to support audit findings and conclusions - Engaging in project management tasks to maintain audit timelines and deliverables - Monitoring and analyzing financial trends to identify opportunities for improvement and risk mitigation - Developing technical accounting skills to address complex transactions and reporting issues - Participating in client support activities to build relationships and enhance service delivery

What You Must Have

- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in the following field of study: Accounting - Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment. - At least an 3.0 overall GPA Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment.

- Preference for a 3.5 overall GPA - Demonstrating knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) - Utilizing auditing methodologies in financial statement audits - Engaging in data analysis and interpretation for financial trends - Applying internal controls to enhance financial reporting accuracy - Reviewing and verifying financial documents for compliance - Excelling in teamwork and client support environments

Travel Requirements Up to 20% Job Posting End Date August 14, 2026

The salary range for this position is: $53,500 - $104,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
