What You Will Achieve • Conduct bifunctional immunological assays to support vaccine clinical development, adhering to Good Clinical Laboratory Practice (GCLP) requirements. • Perform lab work within both BSL-2 and BSL-3 environments. • Maintain a detailed inventory of freezer reagents, including controls, proficiency panels,  and reference standards. • Present progress on assay development and sample analysis to colleagues and senior management. • Collect and analyze data to support troubleshooting, qualification, and other lab projects. • Provide critical data review of both clinical and nonclinical data. • Build team skills and collaborate effectively within the work group. • Stay current on all departmental and corporate training. • Organize work to meet deadlines and apply technical skills. • Follow procedures for assigned tasks and seek guidance when necessary. • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements) • Bachelor's Degree with 0-2 years of laboratory experience in a relevant field of science • Willingness to work in a BSL-2 and BSL-3 environment • Strong attention to detail • High level of self-motivation and organization • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment • Willingness to take self-directed initiative and help advance independent projects • Good verbal and written communication skills • Has a good foundation in general scientific practice and in the principles and concepts of a relevant scientific discipline. • Experience in developing and troubleshooting bioassays designed to assess antibody functionality • Proficiency in computer skills, including word processing, Excel, PowerPoint, and relevant scientific software

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements) • Knowledge of mammalian cells and aseptic techniques • Experience in developing and troubleshooting bioassays designed to assess antibody functionality • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously • Strong problem-solving skills • Excellent communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong organizational skills • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously • Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such  as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance 

Other Job Details • Newly hired employees must agree to a background investigation that will include fingerprinting and Security Risk Assessment approval (background investigation conducted by the U.S. Department of Justice/FBI on individuals requiring access to select agents and toxins, in accordance with the Public Health Security and Bioterrorism Response Act of 2002). • Candidates will be subjected to pre-and/or post-hiring drug screening as a condition of continued employment. 

     PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to adhere to BSL-3 safety requirements, including wearing a fitted respirator and Tyvek suit for a few hours at a time

Work Location Assignment: On Premise 
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $60,200.00 to $100,400.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7.5% of the base salary.
