Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for an Associate Project Manager / Project Manager to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals within our F-35 Business Unit.  This position will be located 100% onsite in Redondo Beach, California or El Segundo, California.

As an Associate Project Manager, you will support and lead projects across Global Supply Chain and manage cost accounts.  You will support the entire F-35 organization for all Global Supply Chain related risks and issues both general and associated with specific projects.

The Associate  Project Manager will report directly to the Manager, GSCPM.  The projects will support the Production, Fleet Readiness & Sustainment, and Development Operating Units.  Candidates for this position will demonstrate a broad skill set that is balanced across leadership, collaboration, business analysis, communication, project management, stakeholder management, change management, and risk management.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Lead and coordinate supply chain projects from initiation through completion. • Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, action items, and deliverables. • Manage assigned cost accounts, including tracking budgets, actual costs, forecasts, and variances. • Partner with cross functional teams including GSC, Engineering, Finance, and Quality. • Coordinate meetings, document decisions, track action items, and follow up on communications. • Support forecasting and resource planning activities • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to cost, quality, delivery, and operational efficiency. • Analyze project and supply chain data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential issues.

Basic Qualifications (Level 1): • Must have Bachelors Degree or in-lieu of degree with 4 years of experience • Experience must be in business management, supply chain, or project management • Microsoft Office Experience

Basic Qualifications (Level 2): • Must have Bachelors Degree with 2 years, Masters Degree or in-lieu of degree with 6 years of experience • Experience must be in business management, supply chain, or project management • Microsoft Office Experience

Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with SAP and Cobra (Earned Value Tool) • Excellent Communication Skills • Able to m eet deadlines in a challenging, multi-tasking environment

Primary Level Salary Range: $63,000.00 - $94,600.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $75,800.00 - $113,800.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
