Job Description: Our Finance team brings together our financial perspectives into our overall strategic and tactical decision making. We use state-of-the-art techniques for financial analysis, planning, accounting, reporting, and performance evaluation. This allows the organization to continue advancing medical innovation and improve lives.
Position Description: The Associate Director – International Tax will report directly to the Director, Tax Planning, located in Rahway, NJ. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to: • Support cross-border structuring and tax planning initiatives by modeling the impact of proposed transactions, business initiatives, and legislative or regulatory changes on the Company's effective tax rate.
• Assist with dividend planning opportunities to repatriate cash in a tax-efficient manner and support Treasury for cash management.
• Assist with Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR), including preparation and filing of Form 8975 and Schedule A, and manage compliance with global tax transparency and reporting requirements, including Public CbCR, Pillar Two reporting, and GloBE Information Return (GIR) filing.
• Responsible for preparation and review of US international tax compliance forms and disclosures, including Forms 5471, 8858, 8865, 1118, 8992 and 8993.
• Responsible for US international tax calculations, including but not limited to Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, and foreign tax credit computations.
• Assist with ASC 740 tax accounting and provision review.
• Prepare and review responses to the IRS examinations,
• Complete special assignments and projects assigned by management,
• Implement and manage automated processes and solutions, aiming for process efficiencies.
Education: • Bachelor's Degree required. Advanced degree preferred (Master of Science in Taxation) and/or CPA certification
Qualifications: • Minimum of 5 years of relevant international tax experience, including U.S. international tax compliance, tax provision, planning, and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. international tax rules, including Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, foreign tax credits (FTC), and earnings and profits (E&P) calculations.
• Strong understanding of ASC 740, including international tax accounting, uncertain tax positions, and the impact of international tax matters on the Company's effective tax rate.
• Experience with Pillar Two, GloBE Information Return (GIR) reporting, Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR), and other global tax transparency initiatives is preferred.
• Strong research, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and intellectually curious with the ability to take ownership of complex tax issues and drive projects to completion.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across tax, finance, treasury, accounting, legal, and business functions.
• Deep working knowledge of Corptax International and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience leveraging technology and automation tools, including Alteryx, Power BI, Power Query, and other data analytics solutions, to improve efficiency, enhance reporting, and streamline tax processes.

The salary range for this role is $129,000.00 - $203,100.00 This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.
The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
