As part of the Real-World Data Analytics team, you will get the opportunity to work with a collaborative team in an inclusive and supportive environment. Associate Director, is an individual contributor responsible for performing non-interventional research projects in support of key customer groups including Global HEOR, PV&E, medical, regional and local HEOR, medical teams, and others.  Project work includes support of protocol development, identification of appropriate data sources, execution of protocol-related programming, analysis and summary of data, and collaboration with customers on presentation of results.  In addition, this role will supply methodological expertise on non-interventional research methods to the Real-World Data Analytics (RWD Analytics) team and the broader BMS outcomes research community.

Responsibilities: • Conduct non-interventional research projects using retrospective data resources in support of • RWD Analytics customer needs • Communicate project status and results effectively to all stakeholders • Engage with customer teams on protocol development, statistical analysis, interpretation and presentation of results, and strategic direction of messaging and research needs • Provide scientific leadership and guidance related to health and economic outcomes research using non-interventional methods • Execute research projects across the customer team • Mentor staff in the development of functional and behavioral skills related to job performance Engage key RWD • Analytics customers in research and market access to plan and execute value focused research projects • Assess the environment and analytical tool set to ensure current needs are met and future needs are communicated by the RWD Analytics Data Development team • Complete other duties as assigned by the Director, RWD Analytics • Expected to possess the capacity to work collaboratively and effectively across all areas, ensuring seamless coordination and alignment of RWD Analytics team goals. • Support and lead various projects that require a broad range of skills and expertise, promoting adaptability among team members  • Promote inclusion by actively engaging in related initiatives and advocating for inclusive practices within the RWD Analytics teams

Requirements • Masters in biostatistics, epidemiology or related quantitative research field; PhD preferred • 5-7 years of experience in pharmaceutical outcomes research, pharmaco-epidemiology, health services research or related field, • 4+ years of experience using large retrospective data sets in the conduct of epidemiologic and economic research on oncology/hematology • 4+ years of experience with statistical programming using R/SAS • Experience with protocol development and execution for health and economic outcomes research projects • Proven strong writing and oral presentation skills • 3+ years project leadership experience preferred • Instant Health Data (IHD) or similar platform knowledge is a nice to have • An ideal candidate will have some experience with the following tools and data analysis methods: • Software: SAS, SQL, R, Java, Matlab, C++, Python • Data analysis methods: predictive modeling, decision tree analysis, clustering, data mining, data processing, genetic algorithms, machine learning, active machine learning (optimal experimental design), Bayesian optimization

Compensation Overview:

Remote - United States - US: $167,540 - $203,013
 The starting pay range(s) listed above is for full-time employees (FTE). You may also be eligible for additional discretionary incentive cash and stock opportunities. We determine starting pay thoughtfully – carefully considering the nature of the role, required skills, work location, schedule and the knowledge and experience you bring. Final compensation is guided by pay equity principles and applicable employment laws. Compensation programs are reviewed on an ongoing basis and may be adjusted over time to reflect evolving market factors, and individual, team or Company performance.

Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, you may be eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefit plans – including wellbeing support, retirement and financial protection benefits, and insurance offerings (medical, dental, vision, life and disability).

U.S.-based exempt employees are eligible for Flexible Time Off (FTO), which provides paid time off without a set accrual limit, subject to manager approval, along with 11 paid company holidays each year.

Non-exempt employees, RayzeBio employees, and employees located in Puerto Rico receive 160 hours of paid vacation annually for new hires (subject to manager approval), 11 paid company holidays, and 3 optional holidays.

Depending on eligibility, employees may also have access to additional time-off benefits, including paid sick leave, up to two paid volunteer days per year, summer hours flexibility, and leaves of absence for medical, personal, parental, caregiver, bereavement, or military needs. Eligible employees also enjoy an annual Global Shutdown between Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
