As a Digital Design Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, and verification of digital integrated circuits and systems. Working as part of a cross-functional engineering team, you will help transform product requirements into innovative semiconductor solutions while supporting various stages of the digital design and implementation process.
Key Responsibilities
• Contribute to the design, implementation, and verification of digital circuits and subsystems.
• Participate in digital design activities from specification through implementation and validation.
• Develop, simulate, and verify RTL designs using industry-standard methodologies and tools.
• Support synthesis, timing analysis, debugging, and performance optimization activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architecture, verification, physical design, test applications, and product engineering.
• Analyze and resolve technical design challenges while ensuring quality and performance objectives are met.
• Document design specifications, verification plans, and technical results.
Must Have Skills
• Understanding of digital circuit design fundamentals and computer architecture concepts.
• Experience with RTL development using Verilog and/or SystemVerilog.
• Familiarity with digital design, simulation, verification, or implementation workflows.
• Knowledge of industry-standard digital design tools and methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills in a team environment.
Preferred Education and Experience
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience in digital design, verification, semiconductor development, or related engineering disciplines.
• Exposure to digital verification methodologies, simulation environments, or testbench development.
• Familiarity with synthesis, static timing analysis (STA), and digital implementation concepts.
• Knowledge of digital communication protocols, interfaces, or system integration concepts.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Tcl, or Shell.
• Academic, internship, or industry experience related to semiconductor design or development.
For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $86,043 to $118,309. • Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location , experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
• This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
• This position includes medical, vision and dental coverage, 401k, paid vacation, holidays, and sick time , and other benefits.
