This role is part of Alcon's Engineering function, a team focused on improving quality, processes, products, packaging and materials across our business to help deliver brilliant outcomes.

The Associate, Automation Technical Support , is primarily responsible for applying technical expertise to test, install, and maintain automation/SCADA systems, including hardware, controllers, HMI, networks, communication, database, and software. You will support project goals by completing tasks effectively and staying updated with automation and SCADA advancements.

Specifics include: • Apply technical knowledge to test, install, and maintain automation/SCADA systems, including input/output signal hardware, controllers, HMI, networks, communication, database, and software. • Support project goals through effective task completion, following established procedures with some decision-making authority. • Stay current with advances in automation and SCADA technologies. • Adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining accurate and complete documentation. • Ensure rigorous quality control and complete all required training. • Meet individual job requirements and contribute to the overall compliance of the organization, committing to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON: • High School Diploma or equivalent • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English • 3 Years of Relevant Experience • Work Schedule: A shift; 12-hour rotating day shift; 4 days on; 4 days off; 6:00am-6:00pm • Worksite location: Onsite • Travel: No Travel • Relocation: No • Sponsorship Assistance: No
