A Day in the Life The Assembler III role supports manufacturing operations by producing and inspecting medical device components and finished products in accordance with established procedures, quality standards, and production requirements. This position contributes to product assembly, equipment operation, process support, and continuous improvement activities within a regulated manufacturing environment. This position is based at the Brooklyn Center South facility in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota and is an onsite role supporting 3rd shift operations.

We're working a minimum of 5 days a week onsite as part of our commitment to fostering a culture of professional growth and cross functional collaboration as we work together to engineer the extraordinary.                     As an Assembler III, you will perform a variety of assembly and production activities supporting the manufacture of medical devices. This role requires the ability to work independently on routine assignments, troubleshoot production-related issues, support quality and process improvement efforts, and provide guidance to less experienced team members. The ideal candidate brings demonstrated manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow documented procedures while maintaining productivity and quality standards.

Primary Responsibilities • Perform assembly, processing, and production operations using established methods, procedures, and quality requirements. • Interpret and follow visual aids, process documentation, work instructions, diagrams, schematics, and verbal instructions to complete manufacturing activities. • Set up workstations, prepare materials, and utilize hand tools, fixtures, and equipment required to support production operations. • Conduct in-process and final inspections to verify product quality and compliance with specifications. • Identify, document, and communicate product, equipment, or process issues and support resolution activities. • Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test assemblies or prototype products as required. • Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending process enhancements that improve quality, efficiency, or operational effectiveness. • Provide guidance, coaching, and training to new or less experienced employees within the work area.

Required Qualifications • 3+ years of manufacturing, assembly, production, distribution, or related operational experience. • No minimum education requirement. • Ability to read and follow work instructions, procedures, diagrams, and production documentation.

Preferred Qualifications • Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment such as medical device, pharmaceutical, aerospace, or electronics manufacturing. • Demonstrated experience training, mentoring, or providing work direction to other employees. • Experience performing product rework, troubleshooting, testing, or prototype assembly activities. • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), quality systems, or manufacturing documentation requirements. • Experience participating in continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, or process optimization initiatives.

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
