K n o w ledge and Ab i l it ies: F AA a ir f r a me stru c tu r a l m a in t e n a n c e , r e p a ir, a nd mod i fi ca t i on; s t ru c tur a l a ir f r a me d e si g n; l o a d p a th tr a nsm i ss i on; ai r f ra me c onstru c t i on methods, t ec hniques a nd mat e ri a l; mat e ri a l a l l o y u se a nd str e n g th f o r n e w a ir f r a me f a bri c a t i on a nd c onstru c t i on a nd r e p a ir of d a m a g e a nd c or r osion to ai r c r a ft stru c tur e s utilizing sol i d a nd bl i nd f a sten e rs; a nd c or r osion p r e v e nt i o n.  P e r f orm stru c tu r a l ma jor re p a irs to prim a r y a nd s e c ond a r y a i r f r a m e stru c ture a nd fl i ght cont r ol sur fa c e s in a cc ord a n c e with F A A - a ppro ve d p roc e d ur e s, te c hniques a nd p ra c t i ce s; f a b ri ca te n e w a i r c r a f t s t ru c tur e s a nd p a rts, a ssess stru c tu r a l m a te r ial a nd installed f a st e n e rs a nd ma k e d a m a ge a nd c or r osion r e p a irs; and a ppro p r i a te use of v a rious a l l o y mat e ri a l and stru c tu r a l f a ste n e rs in the re p a ir of a ir f r a me stru c t u r e s.  May perform Confined Space Entry maintenance to include aircraft fuel tank repairs.

Compensation Details: $51.71 per hour    The compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued.
