JOB SUMMARY Marymount University seeks to create a pool of qualified persons to teach Criminal Justice courses. Qualified applicants will be contacted as a teaching need arises.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES    

• Teaching classes as assigned  

• Office hou rs - Faculty need to be available for a t least on e additional hour per week for each course taugh t, to advise students concerning their coursework.  

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education                                      • Master’s Degree or JD is required.

Experience                                    

• 2-3 years of teaching experience and/or professional experience in related discipline.  

Compensation /Benefits  

Adjuncts receive   remuneration   on a semester   basis, and   may range from   $ 1,200 - $3,600 per   semester, depending on courses taught .

They may make their own contribution to a 403b retirement plan.
