Job Description Teledyne Controls LLC is seeking an Accountant to support the El Segundo business.  The Accountant will be responsible for preparing and maintaining the accuracy of accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to procedural standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, o ther duties may be assigned: • Contact customers about pending and past due invoices • Document results and track progress • Follow up routinely to resolution • Forecast and Manage the Cashflow weekly • Analyze and Report A/R related data semi-monthly • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions • Provide record of assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions • Prepare balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position for managers • Monitor compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures • Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports • Collect appropriate data and prepare federal, state and local reports and tax returns • Serve as back-up for other accounting duties • Support the preparation of year-end audit files and analysis

Education and/or Experience                                            • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university in related fields and 2-5 years of directly related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a "US Person" (US Citizens, US Nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees or refugees).

   Salary Range: $62,800.00-$83,700.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
