Accounts Payable Specialist Sea Mar is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to process supplier invoices and payments accurately and timely. This role maintains vendor records, supports reconciliations and month-end close activities, and ensures compliance with company policies and accounting procedures. Key Responsibilities • Review, code, and enter supplier invoices into Workday; confirm approvals, supporting documentation, and accurate company, cost center, location, spend category/GL account, project, and grant coding. • Process daily settlement payment runs and other electronic payments. • Maintain vendor records, W-9 forms, payment terms, and banking information. • Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies. • Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on missing invoices and unapplied credits. • Monitor AP aging and follow up on overdue or outstanding items. • Review credit-card transactions for receipts, approvals, business purpose, and accurate accounting coding. • Reconcile company credit-card statements and ensure payments are made by the due date. • Assist with month-end close, including AP accruals, prepaid expenses, and AP subledger-to-GL reconciliations. • Prepare AP and credit-card schedules for management and external auditors. • Assist with annual 1099 review, reconciliation, and filing. • Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. • Experience with Workday preferred. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
