Pay Range: $22.64 - $32.83 Job Description
As an Account Partnership Specialist, you will serve as a key liaison between students, sponsors, and university stakeholders to support sponsored student accounts. Through your attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to compliance, you will help drive student satisfaction, retention, and graduation outcomes. What You'll Do • Support billing and invoicing processes for all third-party sponsored students. • Track, prepare, and distribute student invoices while adhering to university deadlines and policies. • Research and resolve time-sensitive account issues with accuracy and urgency. • Manage internal and external communications regarding sponsorship letters, tuition payments, and account balances. • Maintain accurate and timely stakeholder communications within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. • Partner with internal teams and external sponsors to resolve escalated student account concerns and reconcile accounts. • Ensure compliance with university, state, and federal regulations, as well as established accounting principles and procedures.
What You'll Bring • Associate's Degree. • 1 year of experience in a student accounts, finance, or accounting role, preferably within a higher education setting. • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and deadline-driven with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities. • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. • Excellent analytical, computational, and mathematical abilities with an aptitude for numbers and financial data. • Strong understanding of accounting theory, practices, and procedures. • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, filtering, and data analysis functions.
Additional Qualifications • High level of integrity, professionalism, and trustworthiness. • Ability to think critically and use data to make informed decisions. • Strong work ethic and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently with guidance and direction from management. • Strong working knowledge of general accounting practices and federal financial aid regulations, rules, and procedures. • Strong working knowledge of FERPA regulations, rules, and procedures. • Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
Bonus Points • Bachelor's Degree. • Experience with student information systems such as Banner. • Experience working with federal financial aid programs and processes.
Experience in Lieu of Education Equivalent relevant experience performing the essential functions of this job may substitute for education degree requirements. Generally, equivalent relevant experience is defined as 1 year of experience for 1 year of education and is at the discretion of the hiring manager. Work Location This is a full-time, remote role based in the United States.
