Here, you won’t just help customers gear up for their next adventure — you’ll launch one of your own. Whether you're starting out or leveling up, Academy is a place where fun can’t lose!   What You Will Work On You’ll join a dynamic 10-week internship program designed to give you real-world experience in a fast-paced retail environment. From day one, you’ll work on meaningful projects that directly impact our business, whether you’re supporting finance, merchandising, HR, IT, marketing, or supply chain. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to corporate operations and learn how a leading sporting goods retailer stays ahead in a competitive industry.

Throughout the summer, you’ll collaborate with professionals who will guide you through best practices and help you develop skills for your future career. You’ll evaluate processes, contribute to department goals, and present your project results to executive leadership. This is your chance to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world setting while building a strong professional network.

Who You Will Work With You’ll work alongside experienced team members who are passionate about sports, the outdoors, and helping interns succeed. From recent graduates to senior managers, you’ll have access to mentors who will share insights and provide feedback to help you grow. You’ll also connect with fellow interns across multiple disciplines, creating a collaborative and supportive environment that makes learning fun and impactful.

What You Bring Bring your energy, your ideas, and your love for sports and the outdoors. • Junior or Senior status at an accredited college or university

• Must be enrolled as a full-time student at the time of internship

• Degree plan aligned with your internship focus area

• Record of strong academic performance

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)

• Effective written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

• Ability to apply academic knowledge to real-world business challenges

• A team-first attitude; while your core duties are your priority, you're happy to step in wherever you're needed

Work Style and Physical Requirements • Ability to work flexible hours as needed

• Open to relocation for internship at Katy, TX headquarters

• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Regular in-office attendance is required

• Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties

• Ability to adhere to company policies and professional standards
