Job Description:

Assembler Job Description TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc. has an opening in its Anderson, SC Manufacturing Department for Assemblers – Day Shift. We offer competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package -- tuition assistance, 401(k), medical/dental/vision coverage, vacation, and holidays.

The Assembler is responsible for constructing, assembling, testing, and preparing outdoor lawn and garden equipment, including gasoline-powered and battery-powered products such as lawn mowers, blowers, generators, attachments, and related components. This position supports the continuous flow of production while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Assemble parts, components, subassemblies, and finished products using hand, power, and pneumatic tools. • Read and interpret work instructions, drawings, diagrams, photographs, and sketches. • Align, fit, and secure parts to required specifications and tolerances. • Perform assembly operations involving mechanical components and attachments. • Use drills, torque wrenches, pneumatic tools, gauges, and test fixtures. • Package, label, and prepare finished goods for shipment. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. • Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements. • Support continuous improvement initiatives. • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. • Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred. • Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions • Proficiency using hand and power tools. • Strong attention to detail and quality. • Mechanical aptitude and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements • Ability to stand for extended periods. • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistance. • Manual dexterity to operate tools and equipment.

Work Environment • Exposure to varying, noise, fuels, chemicals, and machinery. • Requires strict adherence to safety procedures and quality standards.

Internal Qualifications • No final warnings • No more than 6 attendance points • Efficiency and Quality goals met for the previous 3 months. • Must be in current role for 6+ months. • Must meet all job description requirements.
