About Us Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. What You'll Be Doing • Safely operate haul units to transport aggregate materials throughout the quarry. • Perform pre-operational inspections and report equipment issues promptly. • Follow production schedules and haul routes to support efficient quarry operations. • Maintain compliance with all safety, environmental, and operational procedures. • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth and productive operations.
What Are We Looking For • Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy mobile equipment in an industrial environment. • Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to established procedures. • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify and communicate equipment concerns. • Effective communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced production setting. • Dependable work habits with the ability to work independently and adapt to changing operational needs.
Conditions of Employment • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. • Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment • Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
